There is a limited range of industrial handheld laser engraving machines in the UK because of safety reasons. Nonetheless, if you are looking for the flexibility of a portable laser machine, we believe that our range of machines are not only powerful, but also offer great value for money.

Our new N-LASE series of handheld fiber laser marking systems have been specifically designed to be flexible, simply hold the laser head against the part you wish to mark, then click the button.

The N-LASE Handheld portable laser engraver is very simple and easy to program, import designs, logos, identification marks in almost any format into the software and set the material requirements. The system can be controlled via laptop or tablet and is extremely quick to set-up so you can operate anywhere.

N-Lase Handheld machine is ideal for two types of applications:

Static Marking Of Large Parts

Needham N-LASE fiber lasers are perfect for situations whereby large components require laser etching. Rather than face the impossible task of getting your part to the laser marking station, why not take the laser marking system to the part? This is exactly the situation our N-LASE has been designed for; fully portable, trouble free laser marking of large components.

In-Line Dynamic Applications – Production Lines, Conveyors Etc

Due to the compact footprint and lightweight unit, the N-LASE Handheld is also ideally suited for integration within production lines, conveyors etc for marking products on the fly/dynamically. Due to intelligent galvanometer mirror tracking the system can laser mark components as they move.

Handheld Laser Engraver: Software

The N-LASE series of MOPA fiber lasers come with extremely powerful software that can be installed on to any PC or laptop which is then connected to the laser unit to enable you to mark all kinds codes such as barcodes, 2D data matrix codes, logo’s, images and text. The PC or laptop only needs to be connected to select messages and can be disconnected during the marking process.

N-LASE Handheld Ultra-Portable Series

Off-site marking and engraving is now made easier with our ultra-portable version of the N-LASE Handheld Laser Engraver featuring a small portable control unit and battery operation for marking on-the-fly.

  • MarkinBOX 1010 – Desktop Marker

    Our largest dot peen desktop marker with an expanded marking area, perfect for almost all metals and plastics. The generous marking area (X axis 100mm × Y axis 100mm) and linear XY movement, enables the MB1010 to produce stable and quality marking at any angle. What’s more, the MB1010 is highly portable so you can start your project anywhere!
